Founding Committee
The Founding Committee is composed of experienced professionals in geopolitics and business who have taken on the responsibility of leading this initiative. This Founding Committee manages the initial tasks of organizing the Foundation and will evolve into the core of the future Steering Committee.
The committee’s responsibilities are varied and include tasks such as: establishing a strategic roadmap; meticulously selecting the Foundation’s members, strategic partners, key stakeholders, network connections, and interested parties for multifaceted engagement; orchestrating the internal organizational setup by constituting the most suitable entities, such as councils, commissions, panels, task forces, etc., to facilitate the effective execution of activities, under the Foundation’s overall objectives.
The committee is also in charge of developing internal policies and procedures and ensuring the Foundation’s financial sustainability by creating a budget that covers operating expenses, administrative and maintenance costs, and reserve funds, as well as identifying suitable funding sources and securing initial capital to establish a sufficient endowment.
Another task is defining operating modalities, aware of the intrinsic sensitivities within the Foundation’s purview, thereby ensuring adequate levels of discretion and confidentiality.
Furthermore, recognizing that, while the Foundation’s activities are focused primarily on long-term goals, they are also necessarily influenced by the needs arising from significant events affecting certain Christian communities in the Middle East, the Founding Committee will initiate as circumstances dictate urgent initiatives to address these communities’ immediate crises and emergencies, even before the final organizational structure is complete.
